"Jacob's Ladder" by William Blake
It’s been a while since I’ve “blogged”, mainly because there’s nothing “new under the sun” to yak about, and others are saying just about everything anyway. As usual, life has triggered some actual “thought processes“, so here we go!
While shopping at Safeway Stores, I noticed that potatoes were on sale. A 5 pound bag costs $2.99 while a 10 pound bag costs $3.99. As a former accountant, the wheels were spinning… for another dollar, I can get twice as many potatoes. WOW! Of course, the other half of my brain, the right sided feminine intuitive half was trying to nudge me to remember that I always end up throwing away about half a bag. Not to be daunted by my conscience, I moved to grab a 10 pounder - without cheese. To my chagrin, I noticed an air of putridicity wafting through my nasal passages as I neared the tangled pile of naked bags. After a whiff of the bag I was holding, it seemed there might be a rotten apple, I mean potato, within. I grabbed another. Same thing. After about 6 snorts of potato aromas and lifting 60 pounds of unknown origin, one was picked. Yup. This one is good. I marveled at my new “pecs”, which had grown considerably, while hefting all the bags.
Two days later, a couple of close friends, who live about 20 miles away, had run out of food AND money. I had some vegetables left from the garden, so I got a “grab bag” together, and decided to share my potato bounties. After all, one person can’t eat 10 pounds of taters. When I got to the middle of the bag, something struck me between the eyes, more like my nose. A rotten potato, with black ooze and ants crawling out of it stared me in the face. My efforts to “select” the right bag had failed! My mind ran like a race horse on speed. First, to discard the “offending glob of rot”, and work through my utter dismay. Next, I thought about all that time and care spent at the store, lifting, sniffing and intuiting which bag to choose. Ahhh… the Zen light bulb came on! Like the Indiana Jones movie, where Indiana and the “bad guy” both have an opportunity to choose the actual goblet that Christ drank from, the ancient wise one who guarded the vast array admonishes, “Choose wisely”.
Of course, the bad guy imagines that Christ would have had the most dazzling, bejeweled gold goblet of them all. Those who saw the movie know what happened to HIM! Indiana, in his wisdom, figures that Jesus would have been humble and unassuming; his goblet was probably the least obvious of them all. Of course, he was right. Is there a lesson here? I dunno. But the words, “Choose wisely” have been sticking in my head like a broken record. And, there is good reason why. Many of us feel in our bones that we approach a kind of “nexus point” of no return; a “lift off“, so to speak. Our lives are our judge and jury. The scales, once activated, will inform us where we fit best during and after the “Shift of the Ages”. Perhaps, like the parable of the prodigal son, all will be welcomed Home with vast, cosmic open arms. But perhaps not. I know that had I not changed course, many times during my life, I wouldn’t be sitting here typing these words right now.
What I do know for myself is this:
All wars are created to steal something from someone else, and have nothing more than personal gain behind them. We are all being “run” by beings, some human and some negative polarity ETs, for our energy, just like the Matrix trilogy informs through its use of metaphor. Intolerance and judgment of any kind is a demonstration of the soul level of the individual. Hatred of anyone is a living testimony to the person’s ignorance and delusion. More accurately, these folks are possibly “newbies” or newer souls caught in duality. Of course, they may have incarnated with a soul contract to act in such a manner for the benefit of being a bad example to others, thereby instigating love, kindness and compassion. No one person can know what another’s path really consists of or why. As for the “Powers That Be”, it’s true that some have ruled this planet both from the surface, from below and from above with an iron fist to milk it of all that can be had. The main payoff is our negativity and fear. As our fear levels, violence and injustices increase, they eat the residue as if it’s filet mignon from a 5 star restaurant! But what we don’t see yet are the “invisible realms”, which, like the air we breathe and take for granted, also exists in much larger force.
Every dog has its day.
There are 3 cats that I feed daily. At night, there is occasionally some left over. The skunks are kind of cute in the way they waddle up to the bowls, and tilt them to get the food. I like skunks. The raccoons, however, are filthy dirty pigs. They sneak in, eat the food, then turn around and shit in the bowl! If you live in the country, you know this is true. They do this repeatedly. All one can say is that there are creatures on this earth and in the shared universe that are disgusting! We don’t have to like what the elite and a handful of selfish creatures are doing intentionally. They bring us mercury, chemtrails, aspartame, GM foods, wars, militarization, pharmaceuticals, HIV and AIDS, cancer, flus, fear and a thousand other simultaneous programs designed to profit off of humanity, while destroying it at the same time. But, like the Raccoons, we don’t have to “fight them off”. But we can stop feeding them. It’s okay to know in our hearts a small handful are doing things we find “disgusting”, while turning our lives to a higher road. At some point, the low life of the galaxy fade into obscurity as we approach the pinnacles. We can leave that bar at Star Wars! Think holographically, beyond duality and polarization.
Today might not be a “Doris Day” in your life, but we each have the power within us to choose. Now is the time, at the end of many cosmic cycles, to choose wisely. I wouldn’t want to be caught with my pants down doing the foolish things I used to do a mere 10 years ago! You can read about it in my book if you like, “Tales of a Zany Mystic”, which is available at www.amazon.com, and it’s not for the faint of heart! A few have tried to put me on some kind of “pedestal”. As I topple easily, my natural inclination is to simply be myself, speak my mind, and it isn’t long before the illusion of me being some kind of “guru” is magically dispelled! I’m no Saint, to be sure… A wise soul will choose to be closely aligned with the highest within; call it spirit, soul, intuitive self, or Mother Nature if you like. It’s an internal, moment by moment “struggle”. But the hardest job in the world is to detach from the world and stop whining about it. Anger and outrage are distractions we use to keep our Selves in denial and fear, so that we don’t have to make the necessary changes we know, in our hearts, are necessary. Anger feeds those very beings we are resisting. We all do it, myself included.
So, during this time when there are “wars, and rumors of wars”, those of us who know in our hearts that this is a crazy, whacked out planet of imbeciles, must endeavor not to lower ourselves to the level which is constantly and intentionally thrust upon us: stupidity. Yes, these are the “end cycles” manifesting. Yes, much will be revealed and will occur that is disturbing to the extreme. But isn’t this the roller coaster ride we signed up for? Didn’t we purchase the ticket to Nine Flags, just so we could be thrilled, scared and frightened to death for a few moments? Our lives last but a twinkling of an eye, but our spirit is eternal and infinite. We are the Explorer Race, about to transcend ourselves, like the caterpillar and the butterfly. Nature, in her wisdom, reveals much for those with “eyes to see”. You and I and “All That Is” are ultimately one vast non-local spirit, just beginning to awaken to “multidimensional realities”. Unlike the masses at this time, we have the option to be more aware, more conscious, and go “out of our minds” to align with the intuitive heart of hearts within. In each moment of now, which is all we have, the option and responsibility exists for each one of us to “choose wisely”.
Best,
Zany Mystic
